YOUR FEELINGS DESERVE PRIVACY
Privacy Policy.
Take Me to February is built around one simple promise: a one-way heart stays private. We reveal a connection only when both people choose each other.
Information we collect
When you sign in with Facebook, we receive your Facebook account identifier, name, and profile picture through the public profile permission. We store that information with your website account, the hearts you choose to leave, mutual matches, messages, and notification read states. We do not ask for your Facebook friends, publish posts, or use Facebook to send your confessions.
What other members can see
Signed-in members can see your name and profile picture in Discover. An unmatched heart is visible only to the person who sent it. We do not reveal incoming hearts, their counts, or hints about who selected you. When both people leave a heart, both can see the match and access its private conversation.
How we use your information
We use your information to authenticate your account, show your profile, save private hearts, create mutual matches, deliver in-app notifications, and operate private messaging. We do not sell your profile or conversations. Facebook provides authentication, and our hosting provider operates the servers that store the website’s data.
Cookies and security
This website uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and protect account actions. It is necessary for the service to work. We use HTTPS, authenticated access, and request verification to protect your account. Avoid sharing your device while signed in or sending information you do not want the recipient to keep.
Retention and deletion
Your profile, pending hearts, mutual matches, and messages are retained while your account exists. Pending hearts can be withdrawn. Mutual matches remain until an account is deleted. Account deletion removes your profile, all associated hearts and matches, and messages in those conversations from our active database. Server logs or hosting backups may persist until their normal rotation; this website does not promise immediate removal from independently operated backups.
Your choices
You can sign out, withdraw an unmatched heart, or delete your account in My Profile. You can also remove this app in your Facebook settings and use our data deletion instructions. Account deletion does not remove copies of messages saved independently by another person.
Contact and changes
For account data removal, use the deletion controls in your profile or the Facebook data deletion process described on our data deletion page.
We may update this policy as the service changes. Review this page for the policy that applies to your use.
